London Design Festival Launch Party
The Roundhouse team loves good design, good food and of course, good wine.
So what better way to celebrate our London Design Festival launch of our new kitchen designs and an exhibition of James & Tilla Waters ceramics, than a champagne tasting and a cooking demonstration?
Giancarlo Caldesi left his Marylebone restaurant temporarily and brought a flavour of Italy to our new Concrete and Driftwood kitchen, where he demonstrated his cooking flair using the Gaggenau appliances. With the able assistance of Gaggenau home economist Sarah, Giancarlo created an amazing array of pizzas and left everyone wanting their own steam oven after producing the most mouth watering beef imaginable.
George Burroughs from Louis Roederer Champagne talked us through tastings of the fabulous Brut Premier NV, Winner of the Decanter World Wide Awards 2013 – Gold Medal and NV Champagne Trophy and Brut Vintage Rose NV. Roederer kindly donated a silver ice bucket which was raffled at the end of the evening to a lucky recipient.
Delicious and beautiful canapes were provided by Libby Isaacs.
